Beverly's b'day eve

Date and Day : 10/09/09, Thursday

People : Tiong, Serene, Kwok Leong, Beverly, Christy, myself

It's a big event, and thus...it will be split into two separate posts !

We did a last minute plan and a small gathering.

The plan was just to enjoy the night with a nice dinner and few drinks while counting down to beverly's birthday.

Had a bit of craving for Indian cuisine...

Cinnamon Club (Applecross). Fine Indian cuisine.

Fine when it comes in, fine when it comes out.

Naan Bread (sneaky stuff. Makes you full very easily, yet very tempting)

We had several dishes (can't remember what), it's spicy but good nevertheless

I was very shocked when these dishes came. I thought it's complimentary to the Naan Bread. Who knows, that's the DISH ITSELF ! SO TINY ! WTH !

Not going to brag to much, and just let those pictures do the talking.

I learned something new everyday...

Firstly, I just realise Indian dishes comes in very tiny portion...

Secondly, after more than one and a half year being in Australia, I just know that (coz the gang told me) aussies don't use spoon to eat rice... =/

I was searching high and low for my spoon...

I thought the guys were joking with me, until I recalled and realise "oh yeah...when I eat western, it's steak so I never used spoons. If it's asian, it's either chopsticks or spoon+forks"

Such a noob I am...

After dinner, beverly, Kwok and I decided to buy some drinks at thristy camel while serene and tiong went to fetch christy (bev's long time friend) from the airport. We met up at bev's place =)

Tiong drank one shot of Jack Daniels, and his face turned all red. He's a red chinese now. He said he haven't practiced for sometime...lols

Not long after, we all went back. We had plans to go Mandurah at 11am. Gonna be a long day ahead. There's a lot of pictures too...

It's not all about food, is it? It is.

Well well well well well well well....as usual, me being lazy and slow....

The punishment for procrastinating is....loads of work to do at the end, which is what's happening in this blog post right now. When I could blog bit by bit, I chose not to. Now...it's taking very long and I'm not happy =(

It's been a very busy and hectic week due to various reasons...

Some are pretty good reasons, some are ugly and sad reasons...

I apologize to some of my readers from the very bottom of my heart...

Date and Day : 03/09/09, Thursday

People : Serene, Tiong and myself

Thursday is the day I dislike the most, the reason is due to the fact that my school end the latest (2 or 3pm), and I am very tired because of that damn lab. So I went back, relaxed a bit, then had my dinner. Few minutes after, Tiong called. Serene and Tiong haven't had dinner, so we decided to go Taurus. I decided to tag along, ya know, for fun.

But at the end...I ate again...my 2nd dinner =/

We decided to go to the korean restaurant located beside Taurus. We went there and Tiong got some korean movies, and we bought some ice-cream also.

You guys know how much I hate ice-cream, but I ate some anyway...

After that, we decided to go gelare to have some coffee. It was all good. Then we went back. Day ended all good.

Date and Day : 05/09/09, Saturday

People : Beverly, Kwok Leong, Serene, Tiong, Me

This is the day, Serene and Bev moved in to the new house located at Kardinya. Last couple of weeks, we were busy helping them to clean their home at Attadale and move their furnitures to this new home (but only to the shed).

So now, our job is to move and organize the stuff from the shed to the home. It was a pretty busy day. We went to Bunning's to get some hardware parts and tools too.

First task, moved one box and the television is a good start...big effort

It was a very tiring day...and I HAVEN'T PREPARED FOR MY FINAL YEAR PROJECT PRESENTATION WHICH IS HELD ON MONDAY ! NOOOooOOOooOO !!!

People : Dave, Tiong, Me

Gotta sidetrack a bit....my presentation which was held on Monday, went well. So long I be my usual jackass self, I'll be able to talk for 15mins or whatever time required. lols.

Back to the real deal now...

The three stooges decided to go for a nice dinner for we haven't had a decent meal at a restaurant for sometime...

Gelare and Basterds day !

So tuesday we went to gelare to have waffles and ice-cream coz its half-price. Then we went to watch a movie. Pretty standard.

I told my housemate Karen around 5pm that "we might go gelare around 7 something then go watch inglorious basterds after"

She said she can't make it coz she has to play piano somewhere...

WHO KNOWS around 7something she tried her luck going to gelare...

Quite lucky of her, coz we could easily change our minds last minute and we might not even be at gelare...

She's lucky coz she didn't even bring her phone...lols

We went to watch Inglorious Bastards at Garden City, 9pm. I love that movie. It was funny yet quite bloody. Quite lengthy too, but I like !

Serene shocked the hell outta my pants when she said she lost her purse...WTF...

She realised it like nearly 1 hour after the movie, and we're at home somemore...

THANK GOD she got her purse back...
