BEEF IT UP !

It's a very beefy day today. Beverly called us up to have some beef BBQ for dinner.

It's really good. Let the pictures do the talking...

Pricing-wise, not-so-normal. It's WAGYU beef !

We took chances to cook. When bev and serene moved into this new home, the previous owner gave them this BBQ pit. So nice of them.

We had some chicken wings too !

The drinks corner. Tiong bought this aloe vera drink which is really really good. So good. Too good. Next time I'll take a picture of it.

Kwok just had a little minor eye treatment so he's using that patch. Medical stuff here not cheap man. Just for this short while already $270. We drew his eye patch so it looks like a "sharingan".

We ended the night by singing random songs while they played guitar and all. Very funny night. lols.

I went back at near 1am, then played DOTA as usual. For the past few nights, I've been sleeping for less than 5 hours. DOTA is good !

Thanks a lot bev for all your time and effort spent in organizing this little BBQ gathering.

Must I think of a title?

Yeah told you people I'd be updating more eventhough my internet is now capped and it's very very slow to upload and go to youtube and stuff. But thankfully, DOTA uses very little bandwidth so I can still play DOTA without lag even with my capped internet =))

My housemate's gf came for a visit on friday night. Saturday night we had dinner at happy star, sunday night we had dinner at thai corner restaurant, monday night we had dinner at sizzler. No pictures coz it's just a simple dinner.

But yesterday (tuesday), we went to fremantle to have lunch at cicerello's which is famous for their fish and chips.

They are both doing vet, final semester. Doctor-to-be.

We ordered chilli mussels, seafood platter, fish and chips.

Then I ordered extra seafood platter, squid and 2 servings of fish which are not shown in the picture.

We went to san churro's, which is supposedly a nice chocolate cafe in fremantle.

I ordered a dark chocolate drink. IT'S LITERALLY MELTED DARK CHOCOLATE WITHOUT ADDED WATER OR MILK (I THINK). IT'S THICK AND PURE...

Gary ordered mocha, it's really thick and gluey-like. Keanu ordered white chocolate...which is EXTREMELY sweet. Bad choice mate. lols

We headed off to timezone to play 2hours unlimited arcade games. lols.

Queenie and I wasted 1 hour playing a very old game, time crisis 3...HAHAHA...

finished that damn game...that's because we have unlimited credit. Wasted 1hour...lols..

Our arms were very sore after that...

After 1hour in the arcade, we all had a large BOOST drink...

We were very full and our stomachs could burst anytime...

I think this is a new shooting game. Looks very cool.

There's this cool table outside timezone. Maybe I should quote what is written on the table (took me sometime to read it )

• The surreal life....where you cannot see over the fence but you are sure the grass is greener and the fruit tastier.
• In company or alone, nature is always a part of us and us a part of it. The city destroys our ability to remember our roots.
• Don't be shy. Tell a friend what your problem is that you won't .... (words missing...my bad)

Hello there people. It's been a week since I last updated my blog. Life is getting pretty slow and boring it seems =/

But more interesting stuff are yet to come, so don't lose your confidence in me okay !

Let's make a start...

Date and Day : 30/09/09, Wednesday

People : Kwok Leong, Serene, Tiong, Me

Me and tiong decided to have kopi luwak at this cafe noel which is located at applecross. Sadly, we didn't know that coffee have to be ordered in advanced. TWO weeks in advanced. So two weeks from now, it's kopi luwak time...

Cafe Noel. o_O Just stating the obvious

Tiong and I had this really cool coffee, or rather, the process of making it seems cool. Coffee powder is placed at the top beaker and the bottom beaker filled with water is heated by the Bunsen (sp?) burner.

The hot water rises up the tube, mixes with the coffee powder, then goes back down to the bottom beaker. Is it hard to understand? Is it better if I were to explain it in the 2-girls-1-cup theory? Looks like some sewage waste down there, but it tastes good.

Serene had this chicken thingy because she hasn't had her dinner.

I had a second cup of green tea with capuccino. It's pretty good. The coffee here at this cafe is unique in a way.

Don't ask me why there's very limited pictures. Kwok came and had ice lemon tea. Beverly supposed to join us...but FAIL ! lols

We went to macdonalds...Kwok ordered a happy meal, so did Tiong. Serene ordered McFlurry. And I ordered coffee...

This is Christy's last night in perth before she goes back to Singapore. So we decided to have a small gathering at some restaurant at South Perth (can't remember =/ . I need to sleep more, I'm forgetting things easily)

I had the east african spiced lamb chop. It's good.

Kwok had sumac crusted venison fillet

I had the same as Tiong's. Tiong had the same as me.

After dinner, we went clubbing at northbridge. We went to eurobar and library. I had 2 shots of something that's very sweet and its 55% alcohol each shot.

We did take pictures, but we used serene's camera which is with Bev. Too lazy to take the pictures to upload here now, so I MAY upload the pictures in future.

This is Christy's last daytime in perth before she goes back to Singapore (Like a pop star leaving). We had dimsum at dragon palace, northbridge.

Didn't do anything much at garbo, so we went home...

Tiong BROUGHT kwok and me home. Christy BOUGHT beverly home.

That ends the legendary Christy's time in perth. Hope you had a good time. We had a good time especially watching you and baileys in action. lols.
